About Us

Meet Davinder

Sohni Stitchery is led by Davinder, who earned a two year formal diploma in tailoring in Punjab, India and has over 25 years of hands-on experience altering everyday clothing and creating custom Punjabi and South Asian apparel. Running her own studio has always been her dream, and in 2025 she was finally able to pour her time and skill into making it real, here in the Clayton and Cloverdale area of Surrey.

What she loves most is being her own boss and serving her local community directly. She takes pride in clean stitching, fair prices, and fast turnarounds, the kind of personal care that can be hard to find at the big mall chains. Most basic alterations are ready the same day or the next.

Davinder treats every garment with care and only takes on pieces she is confident she can do well. Before you leave, she makes sure the fit is right and that you are happy with the result. She is also glad to help you in whichever language is most comfortable.
